Lori’s training and focus of Chinese Medicine started with the Classical teachings of the Five Elements, brought to the West by J.R.Worsley. This primary orientation is towards integrating the body, mind and spirit into the healing experience. There is no separation of this healing in Chinese Medicine. As the body heals, so do the emotions and the spirit. As the spirit is soothed and acknowledged, the body and emotions come into alignment with its natural way of being, which is toward ease and health.
Lori has deepened her understanding of the Classical Chinese Medicine teachings with Jeffrey Yuen, an 88th generation Daoist Master, studying with him several times each year since 2002. He has dedicated his life to these teachings of the Classics of 2500 years ago, which is helping to re-orient and deepen the Western understanding of Chinese Medicine.
In addition to Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine treatments, you can enjoy great support of dietary and lifestyle recommendations based on Chinese Medicine that are tailored to your body.
The World Health Organization has recommended Acupuncture for many diagnoses.
I would like more information on you and your practice please.
